Production Project Manager
Our client who specializes in providing outdoor living products, including: apparel, grills, fire pits, furniture, and other accessories is looking for a Production Project Manager. This candidate will manage a production team and coordinate with inventory control and the internal salesforce to determine what needs to be put into production, and ensure that their portfolio of manufacturers are keeping up with our deadlines and product delivery is on time. The ideal candidate excels in shifting priorities, managing and inspiring team members and loves to tackle problems with a visionary approach. Salary range: $65,000-$70,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily communication with design, merchandising, logistics agents, and factories
- Maintain Production Tracking Reports (PTR)/ WIP reports to ensure on time delivery
- Assist with all cost breakdowns to maintain margin expectations
- Maintain seasonal factory allocations and recaps
- Follow up with agents and factories
- Following up on all sample deliveries
- Answering e-mails daily and accurately
- Thorough communication with all departments in the division
- Providing accurate and up to date information to Management
- Following up on all sample deliveries
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in apparel sourcing (overseas manufacturers) and inventory control
- Prior experience in global resourcing
- Understanding brand price points and margin expectations
This will be an on-site position. Mon-Fri with some traveling involved seasonally. Dress code is business casual.
