AP Executive Staffing is hiring an experienced and collaborative OR Nurse Manager (RN) with 5+ years perioperative experience and 3+ years of OR leadership  for our customer, a  highly reputable specialty physician group in WNY. Reporting to the ASC Director, you will collaborate with the Orthopaedic Service Manager and Chief of Anesthesia, plan and manage the daily operations of the operating room, including scheduling surgeries, staffing, and equipment/supply availability.

Salary Range: $110000.00 - $150000.00

Clinical Education and Compliance: Competent in ensuring staff training aligns with policies, procedures, and clinical standards through collaboration with education teams.

Continuous Professional Development: Strong advocate for ongoing staff education in surgical best practices, technology, and safety protocols.

Team Communication and Engagement: Skilled in fostering staff engagement through regular meetings, clear communication, and collaborative leadership.

Equipment and Resource Management: Capable of managing surgical equipment and supply logistics to support smooth and safe operations.

Policy Development and Implementation: Adept at creating and maintaining OR policies to align with accreditation standards, safety regulations, and evidence-based practices.

Regulatory Compliance and Safety: Knowledgeable in maintaining compliance with CMS, AAAHC, and infection control standards to ensure a safe and accredited surgical environment.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred;  current license to practice as a registered nurse (RN) in NYS required.
  • CNOR preferred or in progress to obtain within 24 months of hire.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in perioperative nursing
  • Minimum 3 years progressive operating room leadership experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively across teams with a diverse group of healthcare providers.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to circulate in the operating room to provide reliefs as needed to team members.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other technology.
