Description

Our client is a global leader in energy solutions and is seeking a Sales Manager to help strategize and drive growth in the Northeast U.S. market. This role will work closely with, other Sales Territory Managers, the Sales and Marketing Manager, Drafting Supervisor, Project Manager, Designer/Drafter, Sub-Contractor, Installer and Customers, to execute and complete sales. The Sales Territory Manager will oversee the Eastern NY, Eastern PA, NJ, MD, DE, and DC regions.

Candidates must live within the territory.

This position offers a $130K base salary with commission, total potential salary: $145-160K + great benefits.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell Energy Conservation Measures and pursue new accounts and markets, develop business with ESCOs and OEMs through networking and cold calling.
  • Create and implement a sales and marketing strategy to drive growth.
  • Understand and communicate project terms, customer expectations, and schedules.
  • Oversee schedules and budgets for tradeshows, advertising, and joint marketing efforts.
  • Manage and analyze sales performance for re-seller accounts, contractors, OEMs, ESCOs, and sales reps.
  • Ensure accurate CRM data entry and assist with fieldwork and project management.
  • Handle change orders, project close-outs, and post-project reviews.
  • Provide constructive feedback and demonstrate leadership.
  • Achieve targets for sales volume, gross profit, and net profit.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in developing Energy Conservation Measures.
  • Hands-on mechanical drawing skills for field take-offs, 3–5 years of drafting experience with AutoCAD or board.
  • Experience working with steam and around boilers.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Physically fit for site work and willing to travel within the designated territory.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Candidates must live within the sales territory listed above.
