AP Executive Staffing is currently seeking an experienced North American Account Manager to join our customer - a leading global medical device manufacturer with a commitment to providing innovative, high-quality medical technologies that improve quality of life. This remote/50% travel opportunity will service Top Tier clients for a World-class sales organization! Using value-based sales processes, you will travel for 1-2 weeks/month (primarily North America), meeting with customers to enhance customer relationships and maintain existing revenue streams while also learning and identifying opportunities to qualify and securing new business opportunities and expand account profitability. You will work with your sales leadership team to:
- Develop and execute account and territory plans that align with broader company strategies and collaborate with fellow Account Managers to ensure cohesive customer coverage.
- Achieve or exceed sales objectives for the designated territory, including revenue growth, opportunity identification, resource allocation, and execution of sales strategies and tactics to meet corporate goals.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within client organizations, with a focus on Customer Directors and Managers.
- Stay informed of new products, services, and industry trends to better meet customer needs through successful completion of sales training, shop floor experience, and continuous self-study.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of customer business dynamics, account changes, competitive conditions, and emerging opportunities to protect and grow revenue.
- Collaborate closely with the Customer Success Team to define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met for assigned accounts.
- Partner with the Applications Engineering Team to support commercial opportunities and address customer design, technical, or engineering challenges in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the development of critical commercial processes, metrics, KPIs, and business review practices within the commercial team.
- Participate in account business reviews with internal corporate leadership team to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
- Continuously develop industry knowledge and keep up to date with market trends and customer needs.
- Manage operating expenses within budget guidelines and generate required reports as needed.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of Tier 1 account management/sales experience within the medical device industry or related B2B sales experience.
- A proven track record in sales and territory management, with a strong emphasis on prospecting.
- Demonstrated experience in selling components, sub-assemblies, or finished goods in a technical solutions selling environment.
- Completion of formal sales training programs is advantageous.

- Comprehensive understanding of the medical device and/or contract manufacturing industries.
- Strong skills in sales call planning, execution, and opportunity development.
- Ability to effectively engage with mid-level management at major OEM medical manufacturers across various functions (Operations, Engineering, Marketing).
- Proficiency in analyzing, understanding, and communicating complex technical material.
- Ability to assess the financial impact of deals and opportunities.

Compensation: $175-$200K with commission, variable comp
