PRIMARY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works under the direction of the Lead Mechanical Designer, and/or mechanical engineers to create and modify part and assembly models in 2D and 3D and generate and modify 2D drawings based on these models.
- Maintain structured bills of material and parts lists for assemblies.
- Reviews drawings for layout, completeness, accuracy, constructability, and adherence to internal design/drafting standards.
- Contribute to the improvement and maintenance of internal design/drafting standards.
- Ensures that designs are consistent with internal standards, project technical requirements, and scope.
- Checks assigned drawings supplied by vendors, clients, and other discipline groups throughout the project to ensure quality designs.
- Ensures quality, quantity, and completeness of the assigned design tasks.
- Conforms to company core values.
- Ability to comprehend and understand design concepts for large industrial equipment for pharmaceutical and like applications.
- As a key member of the Project Team may be required to interact with customers and various internal/external personnel.
- Acts with integrity in all elements of responsibility.
- Consistently observe and promote SHEQ site requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Associate degree in Drafting & Design Technology, Engineering Graphics or Engineering Technology.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in mechanical design.
- Well organized with the ability to schedule own workload.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:
- Overtime as needed.
- Travel as needed, national and international.

SCHEDULE: 8 hour shift
ABILITY TO COMMUTE/RELOCATE: Tonawanda, NY 14150: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
