AP Executive Staffing is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor for our customer, a global leader in design and manufacturing of high-precision sensors, fittings and custom-engineered assemblies. With a diverse spectrum of industry specialties including aerospace, power generation, semiconductor, and industrial applications, this position was created due to the incredible growth in business! With direct management and development of a team of 8 manufacturing engineers, this role is a key contributor to a best-in-class leadership team. Your proven experience driving product quality, innovation, and continuous improvement will contribute to our customer’s employee-centric culture. Typical duties will include:
- Leads Industry 4.0 Initiatives.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate all process activities to assure optimum quality in all products manufactured and assembled within a work cell.
- Develop manufacturing documentation (routers, TSD’s, standard work).
- Develop tooling to support production needs.
- Develop cell layouts with input of those who work in the cell.
- Coordinate all process activities and work with design engineering, manufacturing, planning and other disciplines to ensure the quality of the product.
- Investigate internal and external quality concerns, and lead cross functional teams to determine root cause, and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Drive continuous KPI improvement.
- Embrace and utilize CBS tools.
- Assist in the training of teammates as required to support process development/sustainment.
- Find innovative ways to improve quality through new process controls.
- Exemplify core values of integrity, commitment, innovative thinking, customer centric, and teamwork.
The salary range for this role is $80,000 - 135,000.
Skill/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering
- 1+ years in a Supervisory/Management function with a proven history of planning, documentation, quality and employee engagement/development.
