POSITION OVERVIEW:
Our client is seeking an experienced HVAC OEM Account Manager, HOAM, to join their dynamic team. The HOAM will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and fostering strong relationships with clients in the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and delivering exceptional service to our customers.
- Manage and measure sales and marketing performance generated by OEMs.
- Develop OEM business includes cold calling, networking, and solution development.
- Develop and Sell Energy Conservation Measures
- Prospect new and upcoming accounts, markets, and applications to improve sales performance and profitability within the specified marketing region, demographic or account.
- Develop a comprehensive sales & marketing plan to assure both continuity in the market and projected growth.
- Assess, strengths and weaknesses through a hands-on, face to face sales approach, building relationships through professional engineering associations, tradeshows, direct sales calls, specification development, energy services, acoustic survey services, sub-contractors, program development (OEM’s) and key account management.
RESPONSIBILIES:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the OEM sector.
- Identify and prospect potential clients OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to promote our thermal, acoustic, and safety insulation solutions.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as the primary point of contact for their insulation needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, production, and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical training to educate clients on the features and benefits of our insulation blankets.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and business decisions.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and contracts in accordance with client requirements and company policies.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, track customer interactions, and provide regular reports to management on sales activities and pipeline status.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
- Must know, understand, and demonstrate support of The Company Performance Management Program, its principles & processes regarding interaction and activity-based supervision of peer and junior contributors.
- Understand and support compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Engage with all customers, always employing professionalism, representing the company, and unconditionally maintaining clear ethics in all actions and interactions with customers and subcontractors.
- Must exemplify senior position leadership in the absolute support of company policies, procedures, and employee programs specifically to include performance management and compensation management programs.
- Must contribute objectivity-based input to individual employee performance, no opinions but factual constructive input.
- Must demonstrate by personal performance, the importance and objectives of company policy, procedures, and performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the HVAC, ESCO or insulation industry.
- Strong technical aptitude with a solid understanding of HVAC systems and insulation principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts, close sales, and exceed revenue targets.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Proficiency in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software (Clarity CRM) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness and ability to frequent travel (60-70%), and to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and company corporate events.
