Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Tonawanda, NY

Our client, a well-established global manufacturer with over a century of excellence in engineering and precision manufacturing, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their accounting team in Tonawanda, NY. Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and match supplier invoices
• Perform quarterly supplier statement reconciliations
• Review credit card transactions for proper accounting treatment
• Assist with month-end close activities
• Reconcile key general ledger accounts

Additional Responsibilities:

• Provide backup support to the Accounts Receivable Specialist
• Assist with quarterly state sales and use tax reporting
• Support special projects and team initiatives as assigned

Education and Experience:

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
