Electrical Engineer

AP Executive Staffing is hiring an Electrical Engineer with PE license and 7+ years of experience to lead diverse electrical design projects across AEC and industrial sectors. This role offers autonomy, variety, and the opportunity to make a significant impact from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage electrical designs (power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, automation, NEC compliance).
• Act as project manager: define requirements, oversee deliverables, coordinate teams, and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, vendors, and clients to integrate designs and solve unique technical challenges.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their development.
• Prepare proposals, estimates, schedules, and design documentation to industry and company standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience (consulting industry experience preferred but not required).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MathCAD, Trace, and/or SolidWorks Simulation.
• Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills with the desire to work in the Engineering Consulting field
• Valid driver’s license; able to travel locally and occasionally out-of-state.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $90,000–$125,000 based on experience
