AP Executive Staffing is hiring a fully remote, Sr. Design Project Coordinator to execute contract delivery from order, placement through completion. Providing interior furniture products and delivery solutions, nationwide, to enhance Veteran’s lives, our customer is experiencing tremendous growth in demand. This small but mighty, family-owned company is focused on hiring a collaborative, self-driven individual who is highly capable of working in an autonomous & accountable environment. Candidates must have a proven track record of working on high volume, detailed projects with a focus on customer satisfaction, as you will work closely with the customer’s Design team.
Salary range $50,000 to $60,000 per year with an unbeatable benefits package, including fully paid healthcare, unlimited PTO and a generous 401K plan.
Detailed Responsibilities Include:
- Review Acknowledgments for accuracy and notify customers of ship dates.
- Enter and issue POs and receiving tickets to vendors and dealer partners.
- Review project details and develop timelines and installation schedules.
- Facilitate project management meetings to update stakeholders as needed.
- Discuss timelines, site conditions, verified field dimensions, shop drawings, coordination of internal services and/or subcontractors.
- Contract modifications/revisions – Work with Contracting, COR’s and Designers on contract modifications for period of performance, specification changes, storage, and other price increases.
- Maintain Backlog Report and notes in NetSuite; monitor target dates, prepaid invoices, and project completion dates for final invoicing of VA to facilitate cash flow.
- Manage post-installation punch lists and fulfill items in NetSuite for invoicing upon completion.
- Monitor period of performance dates and request modifications as applicable
- Assist with customer service requests, resolve pricing discrepancies, margin questions, etc.
- Resolve receiving and contract completion issues that arise upon invoicing.
Skill/Experience Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in office furniture sales or furniture design or production
- 2+ years in managing a project
- Associate’s Degree in Interior Design/Architecture
- Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Teams
- Must be able to pass satisfactory background check
Skill/Experience Preferences:
- Project Management or Business Administration or equivalent industry experience preferred;
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Design Software: CET/Spec, AutoCAD, 2020 Cap Worksheet
- Enterprise Software: Oracle NetSuite preferred
- Familiarity with major furniture lines
- Experience working with Federal Agencies, Department of Veterans Affairs in particular
