Description
Our client has an excellent career opportunity for an industrial maintenance mechanic to join a team responsible for maintenance and repair of production equipment and metal fabrication machinery in a factory. This is a "hands-on" position doing preventative and corrective maintenance with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric systems. Requires occasional overtime and responding to emergency call-in situations to meet demands of a multi-shift production facility.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years of solid machine repair and industrial electrical experience in industrial manufacturing setting
- In-depth knowledge of industrial mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose machine and process problems
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent communication, organizations, and multi-tasking skills
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations
- Provide and maintain own set of hand tools for personal use on the job
- Experience and familiarly with hydraulic punch presses, brakes and light fabrication, and PLC systems if preferred
- Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds
- Majority of workday must stand and walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend and crawl
SALARY: $30/hr
