Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a passion for process equipment design? Do you have in-depth knowledge and expertise in Pressure vessel design, ASME Sec 8, Div 1, and capital process equipment, as well as machine design, hydraulics, pneumatics, and aseptic process machine production? If so, our client is looking for you!
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design and development of large-scale process equipment for pharmaceutical and like applications. You will use your expertise to perform stress analysis, FEA, stainless steel fabrication, piping, flow, heat transfer, instrumentation, control, and refrigeration systems.
PRIMARY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working knowledge of Pressure vessel design, ASME Sec 8, Div 1, and capital process equipment.
- Knowledge of machine design, hydraulics, pneumatics, and aseptic process machine production.
- Stress analysis, FEA, stainless steel fabrication, piping, flow, heat transfer, instrumentation, control, and refrigeration systems.
- Supervision of drafters and ability to produce general arrangement drawings.
- Ability to comprehend and develop large industrial equipment for pharmaceutical and like applications.
- Project Management, cost variance reporting, and ability to interact with customers and various business personnel. Equipment start-up and validation.
- Consistently observe and promote SHEQ site requirements for self, department, and all contractors, visitors, and guests.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- BSME, BSCE or equivalent a must with related work experience in process equipment as detailed above.
- Well organized with ability to schedule own and drafter’s workload.
- Experience and skill in technical liaison with vendors and customer in both written and verbal forms.
- Must operate in a self-directed manner with efficiency and strong communication skills.
- Hands on experience with large scale process equipment.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:
- Overtime as needed.
- Travel as needed, national and international.

SCHEDULE:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
