AP Professionals of Rochester is a 2019 top workplace! AP was awarded The Democrat and Chronicle’s Top Workplace honor based solely on employee feedback. Feedback was collected through an anonymous, third-party, Energage, LLC survey that measures various pieces of workplace culture.
Top Workplaces is more than just recognition. Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement. Becoming a Top Workplace isn’t something organizations can buy. It’s an achievement organizations have worked for and a distinction that gives them a competitive advantage. It’s a big deal. – Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage
AP’s Top Workplace Honor
AP Professionals of Rochester is proud to be a winner of The D&C’s Top Workplace Award for three consecutive years. Likewise, we are ecstatic to be the 2019 special category award winner, “Doers.”
So, what does it mean to be the top workplace Doer? On paper it means we do things efficiently and well, but to us it represents the “AP Difference.” The AP Difference is our commitment to doing the right thing the right way. Above all, we are committed to helping our client partners find the best candidates for the job, as well as to helping our candidate partners find the “right fit.”
Mark Pautler, Owner and Founder of AP Professionals of Rochester, leads the AP way by example. From the top down, AP strives to do things differently and exceptionally. As a result, this commitment echoes through our culture. We are proud of the culture Mark built and maintains at AP; it does not exist in a vacuum and it is well known in the Rochester community.
AP’s culture decorates the walls of our Linden Oaks office. Our conference rooms are a gallery celebrating success and fun had along the way. For example, you’ll see plaques, trophies, and photos – everything from quarterly “fun days” to professional networking and community volunteering events decorate our walls. A few of our favorite fun days include a Park Ave bar crawl with Rochester Pedal Tours, golfing at Monro Golf Club, and team building at The Great Escape Room. However, others blend our love for fun and giving-back to the Rochester community. One of our most celebrated give-back days was a Habitat for Humanity build.
At AP we like helping. Through helping our business has grown significantly. We grew from three employees in 1996 to 17 to begin 2019. Recently, AP Professionals celebrated 23 years of doing business in Rochester, NY. President, Matt Taylor shared his appreciation to AP’s company partners:
You could have given your business to a number of other agencies. But, you chose AP to manage your personnel staffing needs. Allow me to take a minute to tell you how much we appreciate this. Our agency is based on relationships and our goal is twofold: meet and qualify good people looking for the next “right” opportunity in their career, and find personnel resource solutions for organization so they can run a successful business. The end goal – a mutually beneficial relationship – is always for the long term.
Simply put, we are here to help and we take pride in helping the Greater Rochester, NY region thrive. We will continue to bring a high touch agency approach to our company and candidate partners on finding solutions for their Accounting and Finance, Administrative, Engineering and Operations, and Human Resources needs.
