Description

AP Professionals is recruiting for a permanent opportunity with a local not for profit agency. Truly seeking a jack or all trades. Must be willing to help out wherever needed and work as a team! Full time, permanent with great benefits!

Responsibilities

  • Receives and interacts with all visitors; serves as the agency’s first point of contact with visitors and families. Greets, directs, and maintains sign-in sheets for all visitors, drivers, and staff time sheets.
  • Supports Board of Directors by preparing meeting agendas and minutes, preparing and distributing materials, scheduling meeting arrangements, and maintains record of all Board documentation including Board and committee membership lists and files.
  • Collects mail, processes deposits in conformity with financial accounting practices, records deposits and provides appropriate documentation to Finance Office.
  • Manages onboarding process for new employees and volunteers.
  • Maintains office equipment to include copiers, printers, telecommunication and information technology systems; and contacts outside providers when required for service and repairs
  • Distributes all staff communication or directives on behalf of management and Executive Director.
  • Supports Board of Directors by preparing meeting agendas and minutes, preparing and distributing materials, scheduling meeting arrangements, and maintains record of all Board documentation including Board and committee membership lists and files.
  • Answers telephones, responds to direct requests for information and/or forwards messages to appropriate staff.

Education

  • Associate’s Degree preferred.

Experience

  • Two – five years of previous administrative experience required.

  • Ability to interact courteously and tactfully with staff, clients, family members, visitors, vendors and the general public
