Reporting to the Cost Accounting, the Manufacturing Analyst will assist with gathering financial information and understanding operational results.  Providing support to the manufacturing team related to manufacturing costs, performance measurements and profitability.  Provide financial analysis to evaluate special projects and programs.


  • Analyze actual manufacturing expenses and prepare reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
  • Assist with studies or projects to enhance process improvements for manufacturing
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing and explaining information
  • Support manufacturing operations in all aspects of business, including costing, metrics, analysis and reporting
  • Participate in month-end close activates as well as forecasting and budgeting cycles for operational variances
  • Perform various projects and ad hoc reporting as required
  • Assist with and participate in any special assignments and projects as deemed necessary by management
  • Cross functional training and support within the accounting group to cover paid time off in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Perform special projects as assigned to continue to meet the business requirements and improve customer service

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing environment
