AP Professionals is recruiting for a Human Resources (HR) Data Administrator to join a top Rochester, NY company on a contract basis. The Human Resources (HR) Data Administrator will be responsible for all HR data management including, data entry, analysis, and reporting of HR data for US and Canada. The HR data administrator will also support the maintenance of data in the HRIS. This is a full-time, three (3) month contract position open due to an increase in workload. The payrate is flexible, and the position is located in a convenient Victor, NY location. An associate's degree or higher in HR or 2-4 years' HRIS system management experience is required. Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm hours.

Responsibilities

  • Input and maintain employee information into HR systems, assuring integration with payroll and benefits systems
  • Maintain US and Canada data and integrity for reporting and payroll processing
  • Develop, maintain, generate, and analyze standard and customized reports, such as headcount and turnover data
  • Provide support for HRIS including, but not limited to, researching and resolving system issues, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements
  • Participate in system testing during upgrades, system changes
  • Work with Manager and HRBP’s on compliance and audit activities
  • Documents job processes, ensuring that the data entry process is documented and updated periodically
  • Liaise with third parties and other stakeholders (e.g., payroll, benefits, HRBP’s)
  • Identifies opportunities for improving the effectiveness of processes, systems, and reports
  • Provide support during acquisition and divestiture activities
  • As business needs dictate, work extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks to include mandatory overtime
  • Support HR department with other projects as needed

Education

  • Associate degree in Human Resources required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience

  • 2-4 years’ experience directly utilizing HRIS systems preferred
  • Data entry into HRIS and report writing experience preferred
  • Experience with ADP and ADP-R preferred
  • Must have experience working in an HR environment
  • Experience in people analytics preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel and Word) required
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and analytical skills required
  • High attention to detail required
  • Strong interpersonal skills, approachable, ability to work with all levels of the organization required
