Position Summary:

Responsible for processing large sets of data and connecting that with actions that can drive business impact.  The Data Analyst will explore and process data and then communicate the findings. The person in this role must be able to balance the technical and creative skills in gathering information from various systems, comparing trending data and illustrating and reporting data for easy understanding by all levels.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Ability to work with large amounts of data, facts and figures. Ability to see through the data and analyze it to find conclusions
  • Ability present findings and translate data into an understandable file
  • Able to look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to conclusions based on the findings
  • Work with management team to outline the specific data needs
  • Use data to create models that illustrate trends in the customer base and the consumer population as a whole
  • Design, create and analyze reports, and queries for distribution to assist in decision making
  • Generating reports from single or multiple systems

Education and Experience:

  • BS in Accounting/Finance
  • 5 years’ experience in an analytical role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with the statistical analysis and modeling of business data
