Description

The Data Administrator will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of enterprise customer master data and the execution of data governance polices and procedures. This is a contract/temporary position for up to six (6) months with a company located on the east side of Rochester hiring and interviewing immediately! Pay is up to $20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Review large quantities of customer-level data from multiple systems to provide consistency and standardization for use in customer master data conversion projects
  • Manage all necessary changes/updates to customer data to support the global roll out of the C-MDM system
  • Resolve simple- to medium-complexity system problems in alignment with data management practices
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures and keep them up to date

Education

  • Associate’s Degree required in related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience

  • 5 years’ experience with data entry and/or data management systems required
  • Experience working in a cross-functional, team-oriented, collaborative environment required
  • Experience using ERP systems preferred
  • Experience using Excel or Access preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Strong data entry, analysis, organizational, and problem-solving skills required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with knowledge of and experience with handling large datasets in Microsoft Excel required
  • Ability to drive to root cause, eliminate inconsistencies, and develop/recommend solutions to data issues required
  • Ability to follow procedures and produce/maintain supporting documentation required
  • Ability to work at a very detailed level and perform to a high-level of accuracy in all tasks required
