Description

AP is currently in need of an administrative assistant to work on a temp-hire basis for a well-known non-profit organization in the Rochester area. The hours are 8am - 4:30pm and pay is $18/hour. The ideal candidate will possess a very high attention to detail as this person will work with the Executive Director, elected officials, and the President and CEO’s of other organizations, community members, and others that expect things to be perfect or as close perfect as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule multiple meetings (offsite and onsite)
  • Prepare and create items (e.g. agendas, minutes, etc.) ahead of time for meetings, utilizing PowerPoint
  • Ensure agenda and meeting minutes are spelled correctly and sent out in a timely manner
  • Attend multiple meetings to take and distribute notes to stakeholders
  • Type memos
  • Make phone calls and be very proactive
  • Work with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Strong administrative duties

Experience

  • 3-5 years of administrative experience required
  • Experience with minute taking required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint expertise required
