The Administrative Assistant position is temporary with full time hours for the tax season - January to April. The pay range is $15-20 per hour depending on experience. This is an in-office position. The Administrative Assistant should be enthusiastic and detail oriented to assist accounting and tax personnel/clients in a variety of activities.


  • Process individual, corporate, partnership, non-profit, and fiduciary tax returns
  • Process notice responses
  • Manage and maintain the client portal
  • Provide staff and client assistance with portal use
  • Manage and maintain the Company website
  • Manage and maintain the client database
  • Format financial statements
  • Provide organizational support for special events
  • Produce reports for management, when requested
  • Provide back-up for receptionist
  • Generate and organize client mailings


  • Associate's degree and at least 1 year administrative/professional experience required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Flexibility, persistence, attention to detail, and high degree of accuracy
  • Strong computer skills in databases and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to type 60 words per minute
  • Demonstrated ability to work at a fast pace and manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and attitude
  • Problem-solving and efficiency
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
