Description

AP Professionals is recruiting for a direct hire opportunity for a client located downtown. This position will pay $20/hr.  This is a very professional environment and provides for great growth opportunities. Legal experience is preferred!

Responsibilities

  • Prepares legal documents, forms, applications, supplemental materials and correspondence for attorney review
  • Opens new client matters; interacts with finance department to assist with client billing
  • Provides administrative support in accordance with attorney Board affiliations
  • Interfaces with clients through various forms of communication; responds to client inquiries when appropriate
  • Performs general administrative tasks including entering time, calendar management, expense reimbursement and travel arrangements

Education

  • Associate’s degree (Administrative Studies, Business or related field) is desirable

Experience

  • Two years of legal administrative assistant experience preferred;

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of clients and staff; proven ability to provide exceptional client service
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to respond to multiple priorities and plan work to meet varying deadlines
