Job Summary

This position would be part of the Company's growing Sales and Engineering team to provide technical assistance and apply problem-solving skills in order to maximize the company's product sales.

Technical Sales Engineers work closely with engineering consultants, contractors, distributors, and local county offices to support solution and specification development, provide technical assistance and apply problem-solving skills in order to maximize the Company's product sales.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Works as a collaborative member of our sales and engineering team.
  • Work with team to determine costs and issue formal quotation to customer based on engineering estimate and sales analysis.
  • Communicate with contractors (commercial and residential) providing product information and project support.
  • Provides project support for all stages including quoting, design, submittals, and production.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge on company products, quality, sales practices, pricing, general production practices, and possible limitations.
  • Continually improve product knowledge through familiarization with all product literature, design specifications, and hands-on experience in the field and manufacturing plants.
  • Other duties assigned.


Minimum Education

Required minimum education: 2 year Technical/Engineering degree

Required Major/Focus: Civil, Environmental or Related Engineering Degree; Construction Management or Construction Technology Degree
Combination of post-secondary education and experience will be considered in lieu of degree.


  • EIT is a plus



  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare and review standard engineering documentation.
  • Broad engineering knowledge and knowledge of the construction industry with business knowledge in marketing and sales is a plus
  • High level leadership, negotiating and communications skills.
  • Ability to accomplish results through others.
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite, CRM software, basic CAD).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license.


1 years’ experience in site civil projects or technical sales
