Description

A very unique role located in downtown Buffalo with room for knowledge and advancement. A great opportunity to learn over time and gain skills and more responsibility. To paint a picture of the day to day: this position would require walking from the office over to the Erie County clerk's office. Majority of the position involves searching land records and documenting necessary information for property titles. This is a great position for someone who doesn't like sitting at a desk all day/is potentially interested in the real estate market.

$14/hr

M-F  8am – 5pm

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing real estate documents for recording at the county clerk
  • Search land records at the Erie County Clerk's office
  • Typing, assembling and delivering title searches
  • Retrieve and examine property tax information
  • Retrieve and examine surrogate file information

Qualifications:

  • Eagerness to learn
  • Customer Service oriented
  • Good penmanship
  • Strong attention to detail and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Adherence to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Possess critical thinking skills
  • Willingness to frequently walk between several offices within Downtown Buffalo
  • Accurate typing/data entry skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team; exhibiting
  • High School Diploma or GED required
