The Payroll & Benefits Specialist will be responsible for processing the Payroll, Benefits and Billing for company. This position is also responsible for maintaining up to date knowledge of all aspects of the payroll and benefits administration process in order to create and maintain documentation of procedures, and recommend enhancements that will increase accuracy and improve efficiency.

Direct hire, 40-45K


  • Accurately enter, audit and reconcile all payroll and benefit information related to assigned companies
  • Have a working knowledge of all tasks in the Payroll and Benefits department and have the ability to train each position
  • Process all bi-weekly retirement contributions, and quarterly and annual audits
  • Have a working knowledge of visa processing and taxation
  • Reconcile payroll and benefit general ledger accounts
  • Perform month end, quarter end and year end tasks as required
  • Process monthly Benefit invoices
  • Identify opportunities for automation and/or workflow efficiencies
  • Build working relationships with account holders and payroll and benefit peers
  • Other duties as assigned by the Payroll and Benefits Manager


  • Minimum Associates degree
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a payroll/accounting position required
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or professional certification is highly desirable
  • Prior experience with Benefit Administration is required
  • Proficient use of computer, working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and standard payroll taxation, visa processing, basic accounting principles, in-house payroll systems
  • Strong attention to detail
