Leasing/Marketing Admin

$13/hr, Temp to possible perm

The Leasing/Marketing Admin's responsibility is to effectively implement excellent telephone and sales skills to optimize occupancy of apartments. Create a comfortable community atmosphere by being responsive to current and potential resident needs.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Show and lease apartments to prospective residents by enthusiastically selling the features and benefits of the property and maintaining a clean and attractive model apartment, when applicable
  • Conduct site tours to include showing the prospective resident around the property to view all amenities, model apartment (when applicable), and vacant apartments
  • Create, prepare, and distribute marketing information, gifts, flyers, or other marketing tools
  • Prepare all necessary documents in an accurate and timely manner including, but not limited to, rental applications, rental criteria, property brochures, and other information for presentation to prospects
  • Prepare all leases and move in documentation in an accurate and timely manner. Assist with and/or conduct new resident orientation to property including rules and regulations
  • Maintain resident files and records in Company approved, audit compliant order
  • Enforce and adhere to lease and rules and regulations as appropriate to Fair Housing laws, and ensure consistent treatment of all residents
  • Maintain a positive customer service attitude; be professional, pleasant, and responsive to residents, prospective residents, vendors, and contractors
  • Understand and conduct all business in accordance with regulations of HUD, DHCR, HFA, and all other federal and state supervisory agencies, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, OSHA, federal, state, local, and all other laws pertaining to multifamily housing and employees
  • Follow all company rules, regulations, policies, and procedures as set forth in training sessions, manuals, memos, and other means of communication

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • High school Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years' sales and/or administrative experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, organizational, time management, conflict resolution, and verbal/written skills
