This position is responsible for generating, tracking, and communicating quoting activities for internal and external customers.
- Run daily reports to identify work orders that need to be converted to an estimate.
- Open service estimate based on recommendations or requests by internal and external customers.
- Responsible for directing estimate workflow to Parts Department.
- Convert accepted estimates and send to appropriate parties.
- Communicate with customers, corporate partners, Sales Department and Service Department members.
- Follow up on outstanding estimates.
- Close out unaccepted/expired estimates at end of month.
- Cancel rejected estimates and ensure billable time and materials are accounted for.
- Run weekly reports to ensure quote flow is handled in a timely manner.
- Assist with Service Department phone calls.
