Description of Duties & Responsibilities

The Logistics Coordinator will directly support team leads by executing all general freight transportation duties of a traditional third-party logistics firm. Daily responsibilities include maintaining and developing relationships with transportation partners, scheduling delivery and pick-up appointments, and managing all related documentation. Attention to detail and proactive posture are critical to monitoring and tracking a high volume of daily transactions. Responsiveness and adaptability of the Logistics Coordinator will ensure the delivery of Mancuso’s high standard of service. Candidates must be able to multi-task and utilize all means of technology (internal and external) to communicate with all stakeholders. An established understanding of the transportation industry; including terminology and best practices is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience in business, customer service, sales, retail and (or) food/grocery industries (preferred)
  • Experience with ERP or TMS systems (preferred)
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Compensation: $35,000 - $40,000, depending on experience and qualifications
