Our manufacturing client is looking for a Customer Service Representative to engage with both their customers and the team and contribute to building and maintaining positive working relationships.

Temp to possible permanent
15-16/hr, Full time hours
Tonawanda location


  • Answer incoming calls, assist walk-in customers, and receive faxes and e-business orders to quote price and availability of company and 3rd party products
  • Be a liaison between customer, the company factory, and local salespeople
  • Participate in and promote services
  • Acquire a working knowledge of company product to effectively and directly answer customer inquiries
  • Coordinate inventory between multiple offices in WNY
  • Abide by a 4 hour window: the company commitment to respond to customers within 4 hours with an answer or an update
  • Understand and abide by all company policies
  • Participate in cross training for numerous functions, such as purchasing, invoicing, sourcing, and warehouse functions


  • Strong interest in developing solid working relationships with customers and coworkers
  • A drive for personal development and contribution to a positive work environment and culture
  • Time management between multiple priorities and ability to change priorities throughout the day
  • Ability to learn new software's
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Detail oriented and extremely organized
  • Passion for personal development and continuous improvement
