Description

Our client, a leader in the Renewable Energy field, is looking for an Associate Project Manager will oversee the day-­‐to-­‐day operations of a solar project. The Associate Project Manager will implement the various tasks involved with each project to ensure a positive customer service experience  for  each customer.

Responsibilities include:

  • Schedule the project in logical steps and budgeted time required to meet
  • Manage the solar energy interconnection process with the Utility
  • Complete government incentive applications and coordinate, with management, recovery of incentives
  • Effectively handle customer concerns to ensure complete customer satisfaction
  • Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients, representing the owner or
  • Obtain all necessary permits and
  • Study job specifications to determine appropriate building
  • Requisition supplies and materials to complete
  • Prepare and submit progress reports to management and
  • Coordinate with Project Management and Accounting customer
  • Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at various
  • Confer with owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction
  • Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-­‐effectiveness of plans, using computers.
  • Answers and routes incoming calls on a digital telephone
  • Assists callers in identifying needs and then routing calls
  • Perform other duties as assigned and requested

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations or construction management preferred but not
  • Thorough knowledge of legal issues and safety standards is
  • Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum
  • Strong communications and writing
  • Strong organizational skills for data analysis and managing
  • Able to handle fast-­‐paced, start-­‐up environment with confident results in short time frames.
