IT Manager

Direct hire, salary to $125k

IT project manager will plan, organize, and integrate cross-functional information technology projects that are significant in scope and impact. They coordinate the work of other IT professionals and administrative staff to produce a new piece or system of software.  Provides overall leadership and directs technology efforts to ensure continuous development and execution of strategies that enable us to be technically innovative. Is responsible for all aspects of the organization’s information technology and systems to provide communications to management, monitor progress, and man age risk.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

1. Hires and trains members of the technical staff.

1. Assigns duties and responsibilities and oversees workflow of project.

1. Oversees the day-to-day workflow of the department.

1. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Manages assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project.  Builds plans for technological advances to meet the Company Mission.

1. Develops, maintains, and revises proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing.

1. Sets and tracks project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, then realigns schedules and expectations as needed.

1. Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.

1. Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.

1. Performs other related duties as assigned.

1. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

1. Ability to motivate groups of people to complete a project in a timely manner.

Education and Experience:

1. Bachelors degree in Computer or Information Science-related field required; Masters degree preferred.

1. At least five years of related experience required.
2. Management experience with direct reports required
3. Proven track record of KPI improvements
4. Ability to collaborate with each department head to meet their technological goals
