Network Administrator

Direct hire, on-site in Orlando, FL – salary to $110k

The Network Administrator is tasked with implementing, monitoring, and managing the global computer network ensuring maximum uptime.  Including designing system configurations, documenting, and managing the installation of a new network, and maintaining and upgrading existing systems as necessary.

Essential Functions:

• Design and deploy company LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including servers, routers, firewalls, load balancers hubs, switches, and other hardware
• Provide inspection of network hardware, circuits, and review related performance
• Evaluate, test, and deploy all software and hardware upgrades to the networking infrastructure.
• Configuration and deployment of core and peripheral devices using Palo Alto, Cisco and ARISTA technologies.
• Proactive monitoring of all network devices, services, and servers using a combination of tools to ensure high availability and SLA’s.
• Collect and review network utilization data for capacity and planning purposes
• Assist in developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining disaster recovery plans.
• Manage & troubleshoot network and Internet connectivity throughout the organization.
• Work closely with the fellow team members to provide end-user support and issue resolution.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging tools and technologies in Azure.
• Rigorously create and maintain documentation for all processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with and support the work of other staff engaged in similar functions
• Configure, tests, and maintains LAN/WAN equipment and related services
• Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves network problems
• Managing existing and deploying new system configurations
• Provide Tier 2 and 3 support for internal and external customers
• Monitor and maintain all levels of network security internally and externally

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years experience with Network security management
• 5-10 years job experience with Windows systems and networking
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure preferred
• Technical knowledge of firewalls, wireless access points, VPNs, endpoint security solutions and desktop operating systems
• Strong documentation and problem solving skills
