This person will be assigned to promote the automation services, vet and frame the customer opportunities and qualify the projects as to the required financial and time requirements; including to gather the necessary information with the customer and the sales and support resources-and pass that vetted and framed project scope to the Engineering Team for final proposal and design concept. Following the award of the project, work as a liaison between the customer and personnel to assure timely and efficient completion of deliverables.
This position requires an understanding of factory and commercial processing operations and automation requirements in the discrete and processing manufacturing industries. The individual should possess the ability to recognize the potential of automating traditional manual or mechanical processes for increasing productivity and efficiencies, while lowering our customers’ overall cost of system ownership.
Training and experience with control systems including PLC, HMI and SCADA in developing customer solutions, upgrades and improvements in factory and commercial operations including but not limited to controlling motors, pumps, valves, conveyors, blowers, indexing, robots and production systems and various other equipment used in many different processes and vertical markets.
Travel is required as well as the ability to learn and use new technology of communicating virtually in real time. Compensation will be to experience and to market requirements.
