Essential Job Duties:
− Analyze business processes to develop more efficient solutions that utilize EHR software and other technologies.
− Work with stakeholders to identify and prioritize needs related to EHR system functionality, including managing forms, creating workflows, and data reporting.
− Act as a liaison with EHR software vendors to address support issues promptly, manage software updates, and communicate agency’s needs or concerns.
− Work with program directors and senior leadership to develop reporting tools to manage outcomes and measure progress.
− Perform regular testing and quality assurance of EHR system updates and changes.
− Educate and train users on the full advantage of EHR software and best practices for its use. This will include curating educational resources and creating learning paths for employees.
− Act as the lead for software conversion projects and be the primary point of contact for third-party vendors during the implementation process.
− Collaborate with clinical service providers and administrators to update annual Current Procedural Terminology Codes (CPT), Current Dental Terminology Codes (CDT), Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders 5th Edition (DSM), International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10), Ambulatory Patient Group Codes (APG), and the associated fee schedules.
− Act as software security administrator in conjunction with program leaders and compliance staff to determine appropriate EHR system access for all users.

Minimum Education / Experience Required:
− Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or equivalent work experience
− Three to five years’ experience with Electronic Health Records software in a clinical environment − Knowledge of healthcare data privacy and security regulations
− Familiarity with data reporting tools and building reports
− Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
− Project management experience, including developing and managing project plans and timelines
− Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
− Ability to work independently and as part of a team Understanding of software testing and quality assurance processes
