Description

Reporting to the President, this role will manage HR, office administration, insurance and IT.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the entire recruitment process
  • Oversees the performance appraisal process (support to managers, updating forms)
  • Manages benefits (insurances, PTO, 401k admin)
  • Responsible for employee orientation and ongoing employee training
  • Processes payroll
  • Makes recommendations for HR policies, procedures and practices
  • Maintains responsibility for company adherence to compliance with personnel laws
  • Works directly with Dept. Managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters
  • Recommends, evaluates and participates in staff development
  • Understands Risk Management issues
  • Responds to all insurance related questions
  • Ensures all construction project and managed property vendors’ insurance certificates are up-to-date
  • Handles insurance claims and incident reports
  • Negotiate and oversee all contracts (phone, internet, security, cleaning, copiers, office park association, utilities, etc.
  • Supervise two administrative employees
  • IT (Data back-up, server and electronic filing systems, equipment, appropriate use)
  • Assist department managers in writing and updating departmental policies and procedures
  • Develop and/or update office policies and procedures

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5-10 years of experience in Human Resources and Office Administration
