Our client, a recognized industry leader in the region, is in search of a dynamic HR professional to support their senior leadership team.  Involved in the day to day operations, this role will also be included in strategic input and direction of the company.  The ideal candidate possesses proven leadership and executive presence.

The person in this role will be responsible for providing the overall leadership and the day-to-day management of HR efforts for the enterprise and serve as a business partner to the executive leadership team.  Must be proficient in all functional entities of HR such as staffing/recruiting, benefits management, training and development, employee relations, and organizational design and development.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure department is following all safety procedures as it pertains to the environment
  • Responsible for strategic plan execution by leading group and organization towards strategic objectives
  • Consult on the strategic thinking and planning of the organization
  • Lead conversations with key company officers and staff to develop strategies
  • Coordinate investments and create alignment across enterprise
  • Accountable for leadership and management of HR efforts
  • Act as liaison for employees regarding any issues
  • Recognize employee hires and promotions
  • Responsible for exiting employees including conducting closing interviews
  • Ensure professional development for all employees; Coordinate professional development evaluations between managers and employees
  • Coordinate Performance Improvement Plana (PIP) for all employees
  • Maintain employee handbook
  • Partner with executive leadership to manage staffing and consult on the strategic career pathing and succession planning
  • Create employment offer approval and letters and handle distribution process for new/rehires
  • Maintain salary adjustments and employee incentive bonus schedules
  • Handle annual performance employee incentive bonus administration
  • Participate in various compensation surveys and consult on payroll and employee benefits operations
  • Manage drug test policy as it relates to pre-employment, post-accident, and random testing procedures
  • Ensure applicable driver’s license checks are completed and drivers are compliant with regulations, Uphold confidentiality for all employee matters

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree from an accredited institution in related field; and/or a minimum of 15 years’ equivalent experience
  • Experience with labor relations, personnel and safety to include state and federal regulations required
