AP professionals has partnered with a growing construction company located on the west side of Rochester, in search of a key member to the leadership team to manage the financial governance of the established company, including guidance during significant growth due to favorable market conditions.  This hands on position is considered a part of the senior management team, and critical to the successful evolution of the company.

Position Overview:

Reporting to the President/Owner, the Controller will have oversight of the company’s finance day to day responsibilities.  Managing the back office operations and a small administrative team, this position will be a part of the senior management team, driving successes of $15m company with 50 employees.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage the day to day accounting, month end close and financial reporting package
  • Job costing, project reporting
  • Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payables
  • Facilitate yearend audit
  • Cash flow analysis and reporting
  • Oversee risk mitigation - insurance
  • Act as onsite human resources liaison for day to day items

 

Requirements

  • Four year degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • CPA preferred
  • Existing Construction experience preferred
  • Timberline platform experience preferred

Other Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong communications skills
  • Experienced manager – 5+ years
  • Computer savvy – intermediate Excel experience level required
