Description
Salary:
- $90k- $112k based on experience
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Compensation/Performance Management:
- Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization
- Analyzes wage and salary data to determine competitive compensation position and recommend revisions to wages when necessary.
- Writes and updates ADA compliant job descriptions.
- Training/Organizational Development:
- Assesses training needs and recommends external training for skill enhancement/individual development to develop stronger skills from within the existing workforce
- Identify and arrange suitable training solutions including upgrading supervisory/management skills.
- Participates in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follows-up to ensure training objectives are met.
- Actively search, creatively design and implement effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance.
Recruitment/Staffing:
- Manages recruitment activities for sourcing and selecting employees including exempt, non-exempt and contract employees.
- Manages job postings to external and internal posting boards and schedules meetings and interviews as requested by management.
- Maintains Applicant Tracking records and manages responses to candidates through the recruitment process.
- Ensures hiring managers are using compliant and effective evaluation methods during the recruitment process.
- Establishes/maintains relationships and negotiates rates and terms with various employment agencies.
Payroll:
- Directs payroll processing as performed by the Human Resource Generalist.
- Provides backup of payroll processing for HR Generalist when needed.
Administrative Support:
- Administrative Assistant/Receptionist
- Maintains company organization charts and various rosters
- Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
Non-essential Duties:
- Plans, organizes, coordinates, promotes, and facilitates employee events
- Communicates new hire, termination and LOA information to appropriate brokers in a timely manner.
- Updates relevant spreadsheets for Managers as needed, in a timely fashion.
- Maintains new employee in house files.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Prior knowledge of principles and practices in all functions of human resources.
- Prior experience with payroll input and various databases

Experience and Education:
- 3 - 5 years management/supervisory experience
- A bachelor's degree and five (5) years' Human Resources experience, OR eight (8) years experience in the HR field in progressively responsible positions
- Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred
